What's the difference between a tran geared for torque or top speed? And which one does the mt comes with?

The reason for the different gearing, is to compensate for different tire sizes.
You can't just change gearing for huge speed gains without going to a higher hp motor. You can do minor adjustments that might help you on a specific track.
The MT is geared low, but will not drive like it has more torque due to its huge tires. All the Redcat gassers will have similar final drive ratios.
