Does anyone know if the proline front Trenchers 1154-00 fit all around on a stock Losi DBXL wheel? I want to use them to replace the the stock tires but use the stock foam and wheel. I’ve seen some say yes it’s just hard to fit and some say you can’t. So any hands on experience is appreciated.

If i remember right, the first time i did them it was a little bit of a pita... I'm pretty sure i either wrapped the foam or the inside of the tire (maybe both) with gorilla tape. I can take one off later to take a look. The DBXL aint gonna be runnin' for a little while..... 20171020_223040.jpg

I started to take it apart to clean and fix some issues...but i haven't gotten around to finishing it yet. Steering has alot of play...parts of the roll cage have been shaved away from flipping upside down and sliding across pavement...plus I've been running my 5ive T and 5ive B.

Oh well at least u still have some to have fun. I have a savage that I just finished going through and rebuilding but haven’t gotten nitro to try it out. I recently tore the rearend off my emax due to a bad landing. Now I’m waiting for the tires to come in cause one of the stock dbxl tires tore apart.

Oh ok I actually got home from out of town early Sunday so I put the trenchers on. I only taped the foam though maybe later I’ll take them apart and tape the tire also. Thanks for the input.

The stock foams in my dbxl are crap. I taped them to hold the form better...stop ballooning.
One of my frinds said i should tape my tires to help stop them from doing the pizza cutter thing....althoigh i don't think the gearing with 4 bolt 29cc chung yang i had in it has the tourqe or rpms to do that....but i did it anyway...i had them off so they got taped.

If you really want to go hard core, you can balance the tires.
