Trevor Simpson install in MCD

Does any one know how to mill the Trevor Simpson so I can install it in my MCD Evo3 race runner????

VERY carefully.

But seriously, there should be a picture in the MCD manual of what needs to be shaved to fit in there. You will just have to test fit the motor a few times and dremel a little more each time until it fits.

i have fitted one to an mcd take the bottom bolt from the crank case and then you have to mill it out with either a milling machine or a dremmel about 7mm ish untill you have clearence for the drive shaft

:hammer:Thank you 4 the help! I put a zenoah 26 witch I dremmeled but the TS is going to Innovative rc to be put on a milling machine!! Man I wish I had one ,I just don't want to tear it up.

Your going to have one Bad machine ! We had one of the first Simpson motors in an MCD 1st gen.. It was & still is extremely fast.

Im real glad to hear that!! Thats what Im Looking for.I want to throw another TS in my Baja or maybe the Lauterbacher!!! I am going to test fit it in the Lauterbacher when I get the cases back...

Thats going to be insane !! i'd suggest changing the LB spur gear system over to a FG metal in that case !

That does sound like a good idea.I will have to order one from Largescale just to have it.I know my Fg stripped the gears on first take off with the CC Racing engine!!!

I did the first start with a stock heli style muffler cuz the samba is not here yet and let me tell ya it sonds nuts!!!! I dident glue the tires yet and I blipped the throttle and one flew like an eagle in the wind!! It revs faster than my ccracing!! I wold put this in that Monster YEL!!!! 4 sure!!

how's your TS motor

Hey blown how is that ts monster working for you? thinking bout puting one in my RR. How's low end to top end, and what gears are you running? I just bash alot but, love speed also. Thnx in advance and to any one else with a TS motor I would love your imput,
