High all , can someone please tell me what I've done wrong , I can't seem to get the bottom of the shock into the arm (RPM) without twisting it.

The issue seems to be with the Integy shock brace, but I cant see any other way it could go on....

Thanks guys ???

The brace looks bent inwards to me..which would make bottom of shox at wrong angle(y)..imo bottom of brace needs to come towards the front of the car too bring shox inline as u need
Look like sumins the wrong way round on the front end (y)

Silly question but have you got the brace the right way round?

Positive

Definitely looks bent , if I remove the two bolts that bolt onto the top plate it sits nicer. And I'm order to get those 2 support arms back into the top chassis I need to apply but of pressure, of that makes sense.
I would pull the shocks out and finish assembling the Upper and lower A arms to the hub assemlies then try and mount the shocks. Something doesn't look right but I'm not sure what . Is that a HPI 5T or a 5B I can't tell what the car is even. The arms look different from the 5b arms.

5B
With RPM Arms.
Is it possible my RPM arms are for a 5T?
Or they the same?

I thought the same thing. And where are the spacers that normally fit between the arm and the mount??

I'm not running any spacers, purely because I don't have room to put them.

Is the top plate flat all the way from the frame to where it attaches to the front suspension (the 2 screws under the upper shock support )? Also look at the kick up on the bottom of the frame. It could also be bent farther up than it is suppose to be with out being broken.

Lucky for me mine broke so that it wasn't hiding that damage.

Here's some more pics guys, really appreciating the feedback

I would scrap the rear brace and go with a rear FLM shock tower. Its open and adjustable. Its a better componet

The more I look at the pictures the more I think the issue is the Upper and Lower "A" arms . They are thicker and don't use the spacer clips like a normal HPI 5b or T. Where they attach to the Shock tower bulk head (hope that's what it's called). If the thickness dimensions are off a little bit that may be why the shocks aren't lining up.

I would research both of the FLM front shock towers. Your problem could be avoided and have numerous shock mounting points!!
