looking in my boxes of parts, i came across some proline 23mm buggy adapters. the center is a perfect fit to the fg axle stubs, so i taped 2 of the 4 pin holes and got this

there are no clearance problems at all! now, i will just have to see if they hold up. i think the adapters will fail. but there is only one way to find out. :detective:

well, the first test was an epic failure. the grub screws striped out. so, i took it home and put in larger grub screws. that got me a wheelie machine. this thing hangs the hoops like a mad man! i don't know how long the tires will last, but this is a lot of fun!!

nice work so you got any video on that then would be great to see how that worked out for you and you say they are proline buggy adapters so where can i get my hands on them and whats the prices i wold like to try that out my self

Those rims & tires you want to get I have them on my Nitro truck...there great
I don't know about them for 1/5 scale ..you could fry those tire's with all that power...
might be ok in dirt or grass only.........Slawhammer....

I have found that on the wheel squares if there is a major amount of torque going on that filing them flat will reduce the chance of grub failure. The end of the hollow points have a tendency to spin off.

going to have to do the flat edge filing for my layshaft gear. it's come loose on me twice now and it was rough/used before. Now my truck sounds like a sewing machine LOL

Hope it holds up. Big Joes are pretty meaty tires
