What's up I'm looking to get a TT or XB but can't make up my mind anybody know which would be the better one to buy and hopup

I know the XB is new and has the 30cc motor and is also lighter but to me it just looks like the TT is built better and will take more of a beating I plan on getting a 30.5 motor from ddm after buying the car anyway so I'm not to concerned about power just yet I just don't know what to buy yet which ever it is it's gonna have to take a pretty good beating I'm kinda hard on my toys

The TT is heavy so there is much more force involved is crashes. I was hard on my TT too and after installing all the alloy suspension parts it's was an indestructable tank. Weighed as much as one too.

I have a early factory HSP XT that I purchased early in July that I use for testing. I've run that thing since July with absolutely zero spare parts. I knew if I busted something I was going to be dead in the water and was planning on ordering a second HSP for parts. I never ordered that backup HSP and here we are in February and I'm still running.

I take that back. I did break one and only one part. I snapped the CVD housing cause some knucklehead's Savage spun out in front of me and I hit him WOT. I welded that back together and it's still holding.

Thanks for the info demon so what ur saying is the XB is gonna be the better of the two

I have a prototype XT which is the same as the XB w/out the wing and wide tires, and I have never own a TT but I can tell that even tough the TT looks more robust the XB/T is better built by the 1/8 buggy like geometry of the suspension and some other components.

And like demon, I have not broken anything but 2 axle ends. Hoever I did re-weld them back up and also put some welding on the non-broken ones and problem is gone for good.

Hope this helps.

:)

yup... that is right, tire size is the only difference height wise. however, suspension is higly adjustable on the XT, and tough i've not done myself it I think you can rise it or lower it some more.

If that's true and the only diff in ride height is the wheels then I may have just made up my mind that was another concern of mine was being able to drive through the grass in my field I plan on building a small track but that doesn't just happen overnight know what I mean. Thanks for all the help if anybody gets anymore info on either that u think will help please post it thanks again

I own a savage myself and know first hand how tough they are, but I still figured when posing as a deer in the middle of the road up against what seems like a "mack truck" coming at it there would have been lots of damage....lol

I would compare the savage to the cocka-roach no matter what you throw at them they keep on going....lol....I meant that in a good way of course.... :D
