I just thought of something... Is the exhaust full of oil and sludge?

Also, if you are getting spark, drip a few drops of gas in the plug hole and with throttle wfo pull the rope a few times. See if it pops then.

I really don't know... Out of the 3 motors I've had, if it takes more than 5 pulls to start them, I should put some gas in the tank.. I've had great luck with these small engines.

I wish I could be more help! Is there a small engine shop around your area, someplace that works on lawnmowers and chainsaws? They may be of more service than I. After all, these motors are just fancy weed whacker motors..

Sorry man, I don't know.
Trip..

possibley it seems to apear that way, if the exhaust is some what clogged it could make the engine flood!! im gonna yank it off and see

I wouldn't think so after 2 tanks, but after 2 days of pulling it may? If the fuel isn't firing it has to go somewhere.. What are you running for an oil mix?

First of all you need good 2 stroke oil...not that $1.98 bottle junk....
use 5oz oil to 1 gal of fuel....that make 25:1 mix....
Even tho your stuff is new..don't mean any thing....you could have bad fuel lines.bad klunker on the furl pick up line...crap clogged the carb..bottom screen....even the carb needles may be bad on the tip end or cut o-rings on the needles.....
A plugged exhaust..(you won't be able to start the engine)...I would my self replace all the fuel lines & klunker....reset your carb needles to factory settings H 1 1/2 L 1 1/4
turns out from closed....that is a starting ..you adjust from there..
best of luck to you...Slawhammer

wwbiiker - Did you get it running yet?

First of all I'm new to this 2-stroke gas engine. I had my FH MT for 3 months and learn a few things thru trial and error.

This is what i learn form my engine:

- My FH MT will not start if i set the low needle to factory 1-1/4 turn out. My optimal setting is 3/4 turn and anymore the engine will flood. I don't have an explanation for this.

So i would start at 1 turn out and try it for 3 or 4 pulls. Then turn it in 1/10 th and try it again if it does not start. Once it runs you need to richen it up a little. If the spark plug is wet the engine has too much gas.

- You may have good sparks but it only take a small rub to kill the engine. I would check the gap between the coil and and flywheel. Also check for metal shaving between the flywheel and the coil. It should be a thickness of a business card all the way around.

My flywheel had a high spot that ground the engine when it turns. I had good blue spark too but it wasn't enough to start the engine or inconsistent spark. I think the coil moved when I jump the snow bank.

I hope this help.

FIXED! the head had came loose from the block, im worried now that it scratched up the piston and jug so i will have low compression, i noticed oil gunk around were the gasket is between the two, i made it tight and its wanting to start just need to tune it up. i hope it didnt cause any internal damage.

Pull the head off the rest of the way and look at it.. Or you could try looking through the exhaust and intake ports. I think you will be ok though.. Put some loctight on the threads of the headbolts.

I would pull it apart and make sure you did not pull any crap in the motor. If you sucked in some dirt you can take the motor out pretty fast.
You will need a new gasket anyway so there is no loss. You will need a torque wrench to tighten the bolts too.
