Tuned pipe or Engine rebuild upgrade?

Hey guys,

I'm new to gas powered rc, but I've been doing my research. Just wanted some opinions. I'm about to buy the Losi DBXL and was wondering if it would be better to, first, buy a tuned pipe or do the Rovan engine rebuild upgrade from 23cc to 29cc?

Any brand recommendations for tuned pipes or other engine upgrades would be much appreciated.

I have a 30.5 from Bartolone and a silenced Bartolone pipe and love them both!

How much of a difference to you think I'd see in power if I installed that pipe alone and ran it with the 23cc engine? Also, do you think that pipe would fit in the losi dbxl without overheating other components or melting the roll cage? I've heard that's an issue with some pipes.
