Tuned Pipe Rampage MT

I am new to the world of R/C cars and I wanted to ask for some help. Can anybody tell me what I should do with longer Allen wrench screw and the hook that came with the redcat aluminum polished tuned pipe? And just to be sure when I use that pipe I can’t put a body on the truck without modifying it right.

Hi dwf. Welkom to the world of R/C. Soon you will be addicted. The hook needs to be mounted at the end of the exhaust on the tip. The one end of the hook goes over the exhaust tip and the other is mounted at the same place where your shock is mounted to the shock tower. The longer Hex screw is to compensate for the extra space the hook will take to mount it with the shock.

No mods or cutting needed on the body. You just have to stick some heat resistant tape where the body comes close to the exhaust to avoid the body melting. Trust me it will melt and the body is quite expensive.
