This is a question I have googled and called nearly every hobby shop in Texas and can't find an answer. I would like to know the base/factory settings for the TS reed motor. Both jets please. I've spent about five hours talking to shops, googling and it's like impossible either that or I'm blind. Please anyone with any information don't hesitate to reply. Thank you very much!

I'd say there isn't a exact setting but if you set to the base settinga and go from there, 1 1/4 low and 1 1/2 high, run for a while then stop engine without it idling and undo plug, it should be a brownie colour..

Best advice would be to contact Trevor Simpson.

+1 on both answers - 100%.
I have a full alloy TS 28.5 2-bolt reed valve motor in my 18Kg FG MT.

I'm running a Walbro 813, which seems - to me - to run rich, thus 1 1/4 / 1 1/2 became 1 1/8 / 1 1/4 with my G260RC standard motor.
When I fitted the TS engine, with the same 813, I had to open out the settings ~1/8 low and high.

I'm definitely no expert, but I did not find tuning this engine as easy as the G260RC - perhaps my petals are worn .... it runs fine, but 'has it's moments'.

Al.
