hopefully this type of thing can work for you non baja guys also.


HPI and more specifically, the baja Aftermarket, has been getting doors open that were previously locked and barred for large scale aftermarket. maybe with this round of availability and attention going to HPI, hopefully they ll see the need, and expand into the other large scale markets.
 
i doubt it'll lead to more large scale stuff. tower used to have stuff for the duratrax firehammer and the traxxas monster buggy, they already support all factory stuff for the baja. both duratrax and hpi are major brands in the north american market, it makes sense for them to have some aftermarket for their 1/5 scale stuff. the baja is also the most owned 1/5 scale in north america. they arent going to support brands like FG, MCD, Nuetech, etc because they are not north american brands and there isnt that many owned in north america.
 
Good point, maybe they are re-thinking their marketing approach, only time will tell i guess.
