Hey fellas.. I ran into a issue with my gt3b only getting about 50ft of range so I swaover to the stockTX/RX and that worked fine for a run or 2 but now this has the same issue. I removed the killer B and no change, Any thoughts on this little problem?

No takers on this one! I bound the redcat TX to the flysky RX and the redcat and the flysky TX to the Redcat RX and 50ft or less i

The servo's twitch out or no response.... Looks like a new setup is in order.

range

its been a while-- almost forgot my password! this is just a guess with the range issue. the rx boxes antenna has 2 wires in the insulation. one is the recieveing wire, the other wire is the ground plane wire. one of these wires could be broken where it is soldered to the printed circut board. agan, its just a wild guess. one day, it will actually rain here in eastern oregon- been about 6 months- no bs, then its time to run the cars agan. db

Its been a while!! Southern Idaho thanks you for sending the rain across state line lol. The fartcart has had many hard tumbles so I'm not surprised if that's the cause. The stock RX is smashed all to hell and the gt3b well who knows.... I have a new one on the way so hopefully I can get in the sand bowls this weekend... As always good to hear your wisdom and thoughts and get some rain would ya.

Problem solved!! The 2 recievers were shot ...instead of getting the FS- gt3c they sent the 3f. I found that the binding was a little ass backwards but all is good so thanks for the input.

Yeah I've killed 2 FlySky recievers, the F model is the way to go, it's rated at a higher voltage, considering my NiMh are 7.1v fully charged, and the standard FlySky RX is rated at

6v max

I looked at the site and made a good mistake when I made that order....It says a gain of 100 ft as well...I will take any upgrade where I can get it.
