I am thinking of purchasing a pair of rear Proline Badlands from local hobby shop.

I mainly drive on gravel, sometimes grass and sometimes dirt/rocky stuff.

What do you think would be the best tyre for cornering traction?

I got a problem at the moment when ever I try to take a corner my XRC does a 180 on me, regadless of how easy i am on the throttle.

Its only running stock wheels at the moment which are very worn.

Id like a tyre with a decend amount of sideways grip but hard wearing as I want them to last.

Badlands are a great inexpensive alternative with better traction and better wear.

I would say Hostiles will be the best tire but cost more.

badlands are a good tire, i have them on my 5b and am happy with them.their sideways traction is pretty good due to the staggered lug pattern. i would reccomend them! robertbosley

I run Hostile MXT tires on my 5T and they are incredible tires. I'll be putting Hostile MX Nightmares on the 5B clone when I'm not running the dual paddles.

The Hostile MX rear and Pro-line bowtie fronts are reported to be a very good combination.

I got the Proline badlands, and they are really soft. It seems like a great tire for dirt, but i can't use them on asphalt they'll be gone in 5 minutes.
The next time i will get hostile tires and put them on the badland wheel.

mine arrived today. they do seem very soft, ill have to avoid the road too much with these I think.

the person I got them from told me to glue the foam to the rim. I don't want to do this unless I have to as its going to make removing them a real pain.

Take duct tape and wrap it around the foams a few times. This will eliminate the foams from expanding and tearing the tires. easy to remove too. ;)
