Well gsp pretty much wrestled his way to the win, he did damn near break hardys arm 2 times though. So i am out $500 on that one,but won $200 so all in all i lost $300...BAD NIGHT!:cursing:
 
I like UFC but I wouldnt bet on it. These boys can all produce the goods and all it takes is 1 good punch/kick to completely turn the fight around.
 
I have friends that fight. A bud trains in Richmond and gave me the low down on a few of the up and comers. Kang is such an awesome BJJ guy and always wants to stand up. can't figure those guys out...

ya Mir just looked like he wanted to coast and wait for the later rounds. That Carwin has bricks for hands, can't sit back with him...

Hardy is one tough SOB. When he gets some ground experience he will be a force to reckon with for sure

I think the second fight on the card was the mose exciting
 
Yeah shane carwin has sledge hammers for hands. HARDY is the MAN but he has to get the ground game going..GSP made him look BAD. I'm NOT a gsp fan,dude just gets at me wrong haha.
 
I dig, it's like how we here dislike the detroit red wings haha... you dominate something and are from an area, fans from other areas hate that he keeps beating their fighters..

I prefer the old fights when it was stand up, but gsp is just the ultimate athlete. He never wresteled before and learned you have to wrestle to win. so he became the best wrestler in ufc... at least he's not John Fitch, that's a boring fight to watch... at least gsp tries to finish

Just like Carwin made Mir look bad. Mir did nothing... it was like he couldn't get started and it was over before he realized he was in a fight LOL

I am liking K1 stuff more. I have the fight network and love watching stand up stuff, real strikers. I am a ground guy myself. started in Judo as a kid, learned some submission stuff later. mostly because I hate to fight but doing the security thing sometimes you have to go, and most people have no idea what to do when you take them down (and less chance of you getting hit too). hockey we stood up and threw, but it ends fast and is over. nobody waiting for you after. hell you usually have a beer with the guy you fought and laughed about it
 
What was the fella called who won the heavyweight (i think :blush:) loads of times? He ran at em as soon as the bell went and knocked em out usually! Ah remembered......Chuck Liddell......legend.
