So far i've dealt with:
wheelspin models (
http://wheelspinmodels.co.uk) decent fast service, reasonable prices, and can get hold of prety much any spares that you need. I have never had to ask them a technical query so I don't know how clued up they are.
modelsport (
http://www.modelsport.co.uk), decent fast service, reasonable prices. I have never had to ask them a technical query so I don't know how clued up they are
MMR (
http://www.mmrlargescale.co.uk/) decent fast service, reasonable prices. more biased towards HPI, but a few bits of FG on there too. They phoned me up to ask what colour pre-filter I wanted, so extra brownie points for customer service.
Tonys Models and Hobbies (
http://www.tonysmodelsandhobbies.co.uk/) helpfull people, but they are more of a nitro specialist (but do the odd largescale). based on Safron lane, Leicester.
Hobythek (
http://www.rc-car-online.de/), not technicaly UK, but close enough. Prices can vary with the exchange rate, but right now it's quite reasonable, and no import taxes as it's within Europe. Thease guys know what they are doing and give good advice. Keep an eye on theie special deals as you can get a bargain.
Jetpro (
https://jetpro.com/) website looks a little tatty, but if you email Dino (
[email protected]) he'll be able to sort you out as he is extremely helpful. Though based in the USA, shipping to the UK only took 7 days + 2 days in customs. Customs charge is £8 handling + VAT on the goods value. Ask nicely and Dino will throw some extras in with your order.
