To waterproof I just basically do what mike does, bag the rx and box and a good blast of spray.I also put a bottle over the filter if there is a lot of standing water.

I would love to have a go at racing, looks so much fun and I think the MCD is just about competitive, doesn't seem like there's any 1/5th scale clubs around Lancashire , I have been toying with the idea of setting a club up over my way, Preston I think could be the spot, if needed I may be able to arrange a off road track and a onroad, if anybody is local ish or fancies helping set this up then contact me and we can see if we can sort something, would be good for the new racers like myself to get practice and enjoy maybe a chilled out racing scene until members are ready to take it to the next level, just a thought guys

There is a track at Cowm quarry at Whitworth near Rochdale, it's not used much and is sort of run by Kingcobra/Rossendale models, I'm sure they'd be happy to talk to you about it.
