Well the winter weather has been here for a while now. I have been putting this off too long. Finally I installed some heat for my garage. Now I won't be so darn cold while trying to work on something. I took a 55 gallen drum and converted it to a wood burner. Works great. Here are ome pics.

Try to clear off your (garage)roof in 15 (+ windchill, makes it about 5) degree weather with 10 inches of snow....lol. Now I can work one stuff even when it is zero out. This gives me a reason to start ordering some parts. :D

Not to much to update on the car. I did take it out and put a hole through the body. This thing is a blast to drive in the snow. The 4 wheel drive makes it so fun.

Not much to update except this:

I was woundering why my rear wheel was at a 45 degree angle after a hard run. The bearing just blew up and melted part of the rear bearing holder. Look how oval shape the center is....lol Fun stuff. Now I need to order some parts.

While I wait for parts to come in for my XB (7075 rear bearing holders and new larger bearings, should be here tomorrow) I started to work on my ofna nitro. The pull start broke and there was still fuel in the tank for last summer  . I pulled the motor and tank and started to clean. Here are some pics:

Looks like oil in there but it is fuel...lol

This ofna is a blast to drive. Very fast and nimble. Had a lot of fun with this thing but can't wait till I get my XB fixed.

Got my 7075 rear bearing holders today. Man these things look strong. Very easy to install. Look how much bigger the bearing is then the stock one. Going to test them out today. Here are some pics.

Now I can got out and bash. I just wish things were not frozen around here. I am still waiting on the new http://www.hobbypartz.com/79p-it4-touchscreen-radio-orange.html to get in. I ordered it last week. Still on back order :( .

Very Nice! Now you need the fronts. :D
I just need the C-Hubs now. Took the xb out today but way to cold (8 degrees) to get a good run in. I only lasted 1/2 tank then called it quits. I can't wait till it starts to warm up.

How far north of Detroit are you? I'm in the Canton/Ypsilanti area.
I'm from the Warren/Sterling Heights area. I just say north of Detroit because most people know where Detroit is.

Cool that's about 45 minutes away... Do you have any place to run over there?

I thought about Barnstormers, but I didn't know if they had a track big enough for the gas cars.

The only rc track around that I know of is at Hawthorn Park in Pontiac. I have never been there before but from the video's on youtube it looks fun. As soon as the weather warms up a bit I am going to go and check it out.

Cool maybe we'll have to get together and run our green things...
I'm up for that anytime. The warm weather needs to get here soon. Do you have any places out by you to run?

I was going to take out my xb today but found this.

Looks like I have more work to do. My zip tie must of broke off that was holding the line away from the pipe..lol I will take the pipe to work tomorrow and weld it. Hope I can do a better job then the factory did. Looks like I may have to order my cpi pipe sooner then I thought.
