I just don't understand why someone would put a lift kit on a CAR then put on big stupid looking wheels. I guess the reason I am annoyed with this fad is because of their vehicle choice. If they were doing this with Honda Civics and Scions, I wouldn't care as much as I do. I saw an 87 Buick GNX "Up on Dubs" in a video and I about flipped.

Remember back in the 90's with the Geo Trackers on 13" wheels with the huge offsets and wheel spacers?! Remember what was in the back window??? That's right, a big Gold Fist with jewels on the knuckles! I loved that fad too! :lol:

I wonder what's next? Putting Ford Pinto's and Escort station wagons on Bronco frames and putting 50" mudders under it, with 400 subs that activate the hydrolics and make yo ride JUMP to the jams from the latest one hit wonder "Gangsta" ...Gotta have 700 TV's UNDER it, a soft serve ice cream maker welded to the rear axle and a Slurpee machine on the front axle! That way you can have a refreshing drink as you watch yo favorite rapper video, while workin' on yo ride... Back in the day, they used to put the gas tank spout behind the license plate, but instead we put in a crack rock PEZ dispenser!!! That way the "Man" can't find it...Pimp my ride, anyone???

Just kill me now!

the first one had a for sale sign in the window lol. the second one, I hear that stuttering repetitive crap and I just can't watch the whole video. I play guitar and have taken studio engineering. It takes years to be a musician, rap to me is just like a radio shack keyboard, just hit play and talk about something stupid, like donkey kong games and just a a few ho's and slap that mutha's in and you have a rap tune.... with music taste like that the cars don't surprise me ;)

I mean a raised rock crawler setup with low profile tires? if it had mudders ya ok. about as much sense as making a bobcat into a dragster

well. i guess im just a littler older then you trip. i think that any one with the brains, will power and nolige to do something like that has way blown by us with our little rc trucks. it may not be my idea of "fun", but just becouse they are products of their inviroment and born in the ghetto(like me) doesn't meen they shouldnt have hobbies and enjoy the good things in life. you should give them props. im sure they have decant jobs and i dought they sit on the corner with there "donkers" and sell rock to kids. im sure at some point in our rc life someone has asked why we adults still play with toys and how we could easly dump thousands of dollors into a toy car that most likly cost more then the "real" car we drive(ive seen your car trip). im just saying, it sounds pretty narrow minded to knock someone elses pride and joy or mocking someone elses countless hours and sleepless nights in the garage. i think they are silly for sure, but if we brought our little rc cars down there they would laugh us right ot of the hood.

frumpy.. you just posted a vid of naked dudes washing themselves in a river. at this point it would be wise for you to embrace the "donks". that was horrible. couldnt make it past the first five "man" asses..

I guess you have a point, I don't understand their passion for a 70's 4 door lifted 6 feet in the air with 40 inch wheels covered in a black rubberband, but I'm sure the ingenuity to do it was pretty spectacular. I guess who am I to criticize huh?

As far as my "Real" car, yes I drive a $1,200 Neon and I have a $3,000 FG. It is a choice I made a few years back. The days of me having fast cars and dropping $10,000 on a motor are over. I don't have the desire or the willpower to do it anymore. Every time I have a nice car, somebody gets killed in it, but as long as I have junk, everyone is fine. My last "Nice" car was an '02 Firehawk... My girlfriend was hit in the drivers door by some little punk in a Mustang doing 125! Before that was a 2000 Corvette that was totaled by another girlfriend...

Nobody can get hurt with my FG... So, it's a preference for me. Yes, I am a 32 year old man that plays with toy trucks in the dirt and I'm damn proud of it! But seriously, why should I be ashamed of it?

I do have a little something I'm working on though...

That's just too funny. All I can say is that I miss my 95 AM General HUMMER. :cool2::cool2: But I don't miss the maintenance work I needed to do from time to time.

For now I'll have to settle for my 07 GM H3.
