Well I just got done running around the chicago-land area because of hobbytown! They're almost as bad as car salesmen! I was looking for the hitec 5745 servo and they all said they have them. Then when I got there they didn't they kept offering me the more expensive savox servos....but long story short(er) wasted day for nothing....I ended up buying $200 worth of goodies from ddm and one of the thing I ordered was an outerwear crankcase shroud!! How do you install that?? Do I have take the motor out?

OK go to als hobby shop in elmhurst. One block west of york road, and one block south of the railroad tracks. This is the place !Anybody thats anybody in the chicago area goes to al`s ! They will give you a discount 10%.Talk to chip, tell him cordy sent you.

Ya hobby town sucks every time i have gone there same story we can order it for you why did i wast e my time and gas I can order the stuff myself,so I don't even go there.

I know the feeling I drove for 2 hours to the Boise hobbytown just to get told my stuff is another 20 miles at the hobby town in Nampa . Needless to say I have never been back A-HOLES. I wish I could help you on the outer wears

i mean i like shopping online for my rc needs...but i hate waiting, i used to go to a "mom n' pops" hobby shop but they don't carry any 1/5 scale stuff just because there is not a big market for it around the area. the hobbytowns that i go to is just very convient one is close to my house and one is close to where i work...but now all of hobbytown is not getting my business. I'm going to try Al's hobby like what cordy said. hopefully theyre alot nicer and mostly have things in stock!

Yep. Take the motor out.

I've had nothing but good experiences with HobbyTown. I have been going there for years, though. They've always been helpful in the store, and on the track. Guess it depends on who's running the store.

Tell you the truth it does depend who's running it! When I was in Gainesville fl. When I was still running nitro and my redcat volcano they were very nice and very helpful they went out of there way to call redcat a one way bearing issue!!
