Looking for a bit of help identifying what I have. The body clearly says team associated rc10gt, but the car itself looks like no others ive seen online. I know nothing of nitro so hopefully someone here can help. Thinking of trying to restore it to original so need to know exactly what I have. Here are a few pics to help.15747293148466995181884931124545.webp20191125_175437.webp20191125_175412.webp15747293148466995181884931124545.webp

If that's orginal shell then.its a ae?
But then again ae's has blue anodized bits?
Exactly what i was seeing online. Couldn't find one with a silver chassis. No clue whats original. My old tenant left it in the basement when he moved, and this is how i found it. These bits were in the box aswell if that helps15747319055561070367688465371582.webp

I see parts for those on Ebay all the time ,but I am not sure if the later version parts fit the older ones!...

But anyway ,it is a great find!...(y)

I think it's a maximum ST. Several of the duratrax model from that era used the torq .16 glow engine, with basically the same platform so it's a bit hard to tell. But from the body and how short the A arms are I'm assuming it's the ST and not the MT
Here's a link to one on ebay...

You seem to be correct, I even found the tiny little exhaust like in those pics in the bottom of the box. In other news I think the engine may be cooked. After hours of cleaning, and alot of pulling, she fired up. Ran ok for a bit until it got warm, then seemed to lose compression. Gotta start the hunt for piston, sleeve, and rod.
