So here's one to add to the growing list.. I was mounting up the aluminum center diff mount ... ya know the one with bad tolerances for the bearings? Yeah that one. Well turns out two of the holes were never even tapped. I don't happen to have a 5mm tap laying around and I'm so friggin happy with redcat at the moment that I'm starting to think I'd rather sell it than buy another f*#king tool to fix it. Guess I gotta mount up the plastic one again and try to get a replacement or go buy a tap..

Maybe redcat and integy have the same qc staff. ZING! HIGH FIVE!

Where did you buy it? Have you contacted them yet?
Vancouver Hobbies.. Yeah, I'm sure they'll make good.. They had a set of rubber sealed bearings so I grabbed the mount and steering knuckles at the same time.. Probably wouldn't have bothered me as much but damn, the steering knuckles have quite a bit of slop when mounted, the bearings are sloppy in the dif mount, then the untapped holes...

good times:D

I would make some comments but you know I feel your pain man! lucky for me I have more tools than this thing requires. Keep on keepin on. After I put a new head on my MT and get it running It might hit the shelf for a while. Need to put some money into my race truggy for a bit.

$60 on an aluminum gear plate was the first and only redcat alum. peice Ill ever buy hopefully. It had bearing slop. I got tired of spacing the bearings and put on a v2 gear plate. I only used it for 2 tanks

they fix,d the bearing slop problem the fit tight now ,my first one they where lose.good now.
