Tryin to see what kind of other bodies out there would be a good fit for the MT I`ve heard the stock one is poop ?????

ps. i wouldnt say the stock shells are bad, they just get brittle when cold and crack/shatter easyer

That body makes the xt look alot better, as for the mt body isn't there some kind of tape you put inside to stiffen it up?

Yeah, its just drywall mesh tape. Apply it and then coat it with shoe glue. Easy and it makes a big difference.

If you want to stick with the MT look, MCD bodies will fit.

Are they worth the money? I would like to find a 80's style ford pickup body and then I would do a bigfoot paint job.

Hey CAVEMAN not sure what paint job I will do will be a 2 or 3 colour paint job Have painted 2 on-road boddies for my motonica P81 will post tomorrow and give you a look.

Painted with spray cans didn't turn out so bad I think will post tomorrow

To answer your question:

Yes, but the Grafil SC fits better. The wheels won't tuck under the proline body. Here are some examples. 1st is the Grafil SC.

The wheels are HPI 5t fronts.

The tires are RC4WD Ruff Riders 5b fronts.

MCD makes good bodies, and they're not terribly priced.
