I have bought a old rampage from my buddy. this old rampage still look new . the upgrades kit had not been installed on the truck . do you have to upgrade with this kit for my truck ? is the upgrade kit neccessary ? :rolleyes:
 
it really is necassary. the stock diffs wont last that long and the upgraded vented clutchbell/gear plate will help preserve the gears. if you notice the shock springs seem a little short? the upgrade kit has longer springs to fix that. plus it comes with 4 extra suspension arms, 2 mt bumpers, upgrades wheel hubs and a few other needed goodies. is it the MT or the TT.. does it still have the stock throttle servo in it? if so, he must not have drivin it much as the stock throttle servo only lasts about 10 minutes.
