Upgrade my shocks

I am still running original shocks and have rebuilt them a couple of times I would like to upgrade to 6 mm Hpi shocks and I do remember a couple of threads on here about this modd but can no longer find it. Could some one point me in the right direction so I can buy some. Do I just need front Hpi shocks to fit all round and what do I have to change. Thanks for the advise in advance.

You can upgrade to the 6 mm shafts by using the HPI front lower shock assemblies, they thread right in. You might have to Dremel the lower suspension arm if the HPI spring perch rubs on it, but it's not a big deal. Or you could use some extended spring cups.

To do this, you'll need:

Two sets of these.

Front Shock Repair Kit for the VVC/HD Front Shocks

And if you want to run the extended spring cups. Two sets of these.

Installed Hpi 6mm front shock shafts and deanodized the blue and polished them up took them out to test today and they work awesome. Should have done them months ago thanks Deluge for info. Took some video too I'll post later when I get time.
