I've put an X-Can on my Firehammer MT, here is what I though:

Good low end pick-up, but I wasn't really that impressed. It was loud as hell. I had to rig it because I was using one meant for an HPI Baja, you can see in my pic I used silicone tubing with copper tubing, and some elbows:

If you can save about another 40 bucks for a DDM pipe, it is worth the money.

DDM puts one on ebay and they usually go for about 120/130 as opposed to purchasing it straight from DDM's online site at 160. Just type in DDM Dominator.

If you are gung-ho about getting the X-Can though, I'm not sure about the fd800 one if it allows you to flip it over so the exhaust comes out the top. I would shoot an e-mail to DDM, they get back to you quick and really great guys. Maybe someone will chime in on here.

That is the correct pullstart pre-filter!

I believe the airfilter pre-filter would work, but if you have the Duratrax filter on there, it won't go over the shield. Again, someone else should chime in. Which air filter are you currently using? Stock or something different?
 
I have to agree with csp on the exhaust pipe....the dom pipe will give you more
power...I my self donot care for the X-Can....The prefilers should work for you...

well i going to wait to get a pipe for now but im going to get a new air filter what would be a good air filter for the stock engine also my airfilter outer wears pre-filter it has to fit over it
