So I broke my upper front plate trying to get my sym steer in, for some reason my sym steer arms won’t go in to where I can bolt it down kuz of the upper bulkhead do I have to have the bulkhead in or do I have to remove it for the sym steer kit

My experience with all Chineseum kit..... all the links/ ball ends cheaply made, broke one trying to adjust. Servo area way to small for even stock servo. None of the holes even close for mounting to frame..... . I kept it and will probably modify it to use with the all plastic kit which dropped right in. See my red baron build.

Wow Sweeping statement there !, Especially as most stuff is now of Chinese manufacture.
Don't know which one you had , but mine fitted right in with standard servo.
Rod ends were a bit crap , but I use industrial ball joints for my cars anyway.

Best images I could get the second image with the red circle outlined is my issue with my steering it just will not fit in to where I can bolt it to the front pressure plate, you can see in the first pic that the steering ball joints are on that outlined piece and it won’t allow the sym street kit to set flush with the pressure plate so I can bolt it to the pressure plate if that makes since

AHHHH!
Never kept the plastic bulkhead on any of mine , got rid of them as well as all the other mounts as soon as I could .
The plastic is well bulbous compared with alloy versions .

So your recommendation is for me to just upgrade the hole front end with alloy kuz the plastic stuff is more bulkier,? Wouldn’t it still be the same or can I run it without the bulkhead at all ?

All I am saying is that mine fitted with alloy bulkhead and shock tower and stays , I assume the plastics are much more bulky because they are not as strong.

Yea pretty sure I ordered some china bs but I mean other than these issues it bolts up it’s just that piece I showed in the second picture that is stopping it so I’m ordering a new one of them and a upper pressure plate I think my chassis is bent up to far I’m thinking it’s been ran into something pretty hard in the front

When I say stick , I mean bolt securely !
Well I’m not sure that it’s weak it’s seems pretty stiff it just looks like the frame on the front was bent up a little bit and I think it pushed that piece down a bit to far I’m just scared to try and bent it back the other way may brake idk lol
