Bodies can be replaces and often are. That is not a good indicator. The chassis plate is however. Is it scratched? Then it has been ran. If it has been a "shelf queen" too long the tires will need replacement. Check out the servo's to make sure they are not frozen up.

The older V.1's have a square hole where the front and read diffs are located. The newer V.3's have three holes. The front and rear of the V.3's have "ears" where the lower arms stop.

If the chassis doesn't have a second servo, or the holes to even mount a second servo, it's a V1.
