Using a Battery maintainer for receiver pack

Every summer I end up buying new nimh receiver battery packs. I've seen people using battery maintainers on cars, rv, dirt bikes, etc.

Does anyone use a battery maintainer on their receiver packs to get more life out them?

Nope, normally I get gear that I can run a lipo in. If you have nimh/nicd you just have to keep up after them.

Running a LiFe here. I've only had a few runs, but it works great so far. I thought about going LiPo, but I don't need HV servos in my build just yet. LiFe batteries work with your 6v servos without need for a voltage regulator.

I got this one in case you're curious. It's a bear to snug in with a killswitch, but it does fit. You just need to cut a couple tabs out of the top of the case, same as using a LiPo.
