My question is for any of the guy`s running the xtb. Have any of you guys had a vapor lock issue with the xtb or xt fuel tank? What I am getting at is do we need to vent the fuel cap like we had to do on the v2`s ?

any two stroke toy you have will have to be vented or it will eventually stop the flow of gas to the tank!!! However, the gas cap on the XT is very discrete and you don't have to have a hose to it like in some other 5th scale RCs or a sputtering big hole in the middle, and it barely leaks gas in the event of a rollover where it ends upside down.

I'd put a vent on it

Not sure about the other guys, but my XT stopped running just after 3 tanks and thanks to the guys in this forum I was able to cure the problem asap or I wouldn't have a clue where to look. Soon as my bud and I installed the vents on our XT and XB it started right up, so on with the bashing. I read it doesn't happen to all of us, but why wait for it to happen, it won't hurt anything to do it. Our other pal just bought a new XT and we both agreed to just intall one even though he has not run the truck yet. I got this from one of our forum friends. this is the one way filter we installed.

here's the hose, we installed it and looks nice too.
