so i got this kit http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.885035/n.1/it.A/id.6470/.f and got everything installed. tried running it and it acts like its running out of gas a WOT. pick-up is where it need to be, hoses are in the tank only 1/2in, i sealed the gas cap. (but it still has the guts in it) does that matter? going to try it with out them tomorrow. here is a pic.

i left the gut's in my cap and it work's fine have you tried a new plug
i just went out and took the guts out, and shortened the return fuel line, and so far so good. i will run it tomorrow and see if i got it. thanks though.

Do you have the check valve on on the end? Should not matter if the guts are in on the gas cap if you have it sealed I always take all my guts out of the cap and just use the rubber part. Did you also try to pull the other 2 fuel lines up some maybe they are to far in the tank. Also make sure you have the pick up is on the right fuel line? I have installed the pick on the wrong fuel line and had the wrong fuel line down to far in the tank. I hope any of this helps and you get it figured out.

Also, confirm that you have the lines hooked up right. It's easy to cross them. Return line goes to the top of the carb, the pickup goes to the bottom.

You should also loop your vent line down to the chassis. That way if your upside down you won't drain fuel everywhere.
