After all the initial cursing and all WTF´s at the beginning I can say now that I am happy with my car.
Between last sunday and today I have used my car 5 days, gone thru many many tanks of fuel and not a single problem.
I have had more fun with this car than any other nitro car I have used before.
After I installed the Lauterbacher clutch the performance of the car has been the same all the time. Hot or cold.
I went back to the original shock springs because the car was too "tippy" (is that the word?), too high, now it slides better. Easier to drive fast.
Now I want to experiment with air filters, I feel that the billet ones are kind of restricted and not "aerodynamically" correct.
Also I am going back to the 813 carb now that I found my performance weakness (clutch) and see if it gets any better.
