As some of you already know I converted my MT to a TT for the track and modified a rear silenced VRC pipe to put on it. Well here is the video of the end result and I have to say I am very pleased with how it turned out and also with the performance of the pipe.

Ya Pwaicon thats a sweet TT man! Im still in love with those shock towers! Still working on my conversion :(

Thanks guys for all you great comments, now I have to see how the pipe performs when I go back to an MT with those big wheels.

Moo,

I am really looking forward to see how your Pro VRC pipe performs!! I hope between you and gas jockey you’ll have some nice video to post up.

nice man!the mcd body fits without mods?what tires\rims are u running?
The MCD body fit with just minor trimming to clear the steering push rods and the rear bottom portion of the chassis. You should have no problem fitting it on a TT. I do have a custom shock towers so I was able to trim the nose of the body to pass through the front shock tower, with the stock shock tower there is no cut out so the nose of the body would have to be completely cut off the body in order for it to fit. As for the tires I am running Proline Bowties front and rears on Desperado wheels that I barrowed off of my FG Leopard, I don’t think the Leopard is going to get them back. I still would like to try catchaser’s set up and run all fronts on all four corners; I just need to pick up another set of fronts.

i like the vrc pro pipe my bud runs it on his 5b with 27.2.i just wish that theyll make more pipe option for the rampage.

so u think running all fronts is good?i just have the stock engine for now,and i tried running the all baja rears and its slowin it down.i switched to 5t set up and it is a huge difference.ill try all fronts & see if its better, just tiring to take off tires on other and put it on the ramp.all 3 trucks i rotate the wheels heheh.

I haven’t tried it our yet but from what catchaser has posted up it looks like it handles great with fronts on all four corners. I am going to wait until I come across a deal on another set of fronts and then give it a try. I know VRC was suppose to make a rear exiting Rampage specific pipe but I suspect that will never happen which is a shame because they make some excellent pipes.

I would have to agree, it was well worth the effort. Like you said fitting the pipe was the easy part, but fitting everything else around the pipe is what proved challenging. Coming up with a wing mount I was pleased with is what took me the longest.

Do u have a pic of those shock towers,i just ordered the mcd body and don't want to have to cut the body off in the front.Your video helped me decide to buy this redcat......very nice

Those shock towers are 1 of a kind, Pwaicon custom made them to make room for the pipe and body.
