Just playing and spraying Melissa with rocks for a minute until I had a screw come loose... Wait a second, uuumm that didn't come out right!

The screw was stuck in the spindle when I took the truck home but somehow I lost it? I did find out though, if you have the stock plastic parts, you can replace this screw with the stock exhaust screws from the stock can!! **Edit** This does NOT work!!! **Edit**

Other than splattering the diff 3 years ago, this is the only thing, I think, I have ever broken... Although it didn't really break! I love my large scale!

Unfortunatly you haven't seen what's been going on in here for the last few days.. Being a new member I can see how you must think. I am not saying I am above anyone, but the problems DC has brought unto himself has put him very low on my list of people.

Dc was banned on here by the moderators, I had nothing to do with it, even though he seems to think I did. He is mad that he was rejected by the members on this forum and now feels as though he has to complain on every thread to make his point known. It is unfortunate, but it was a bed that he made and is making, for himself to lie in.

In DC's defense, I can see why he is so upset, but he has made himself look very immature because of his actions.

Bruno, If I have offended you, I apologize. If this is another screen name for DC, shame on you.

The speed of the moderators is amazing!! I don't know which is faster, DC's comments or the moderators pulling his posts! I appreciate all of your help :)

I guess it's time to put some money in and become a contributing member on here... I have to pay these hard working fellows!

Just watched your vid Trip.Are you running plastic front hubs? If so a quick fix is to reverse them(left to right and vice versa)then the pulled hole will be on the top of the left hub,put a small piece of plastic in the hole( I used a small zip-tie) and wind the screw back in.My fix has lasted me 5 tanks now and still going strong!

It was in the 40's here today as well, but I didn't care! I had to get out, even if it was for only 3 mins :lol:

Good advise!! I used a stock can screw, but it didn't last after my 3rd wheelie :( I will try what you suggested!

I wish it was sand!!! I was playing in a rock quarry, so the smallest rocks are about the size of ping-pong balls... Those mounds are about 80 feet tall!! As soon as I get my rag, I mean truck back together, I am gonna dominate those hills!!! I'll bring the camera and have the camera lady get closer to the action! As long as I don't blast her with rocks again!!! :lol:

It's not the engine!!! It's 100% the pipe!! Actually the stock Zen 26 has about the same low end but has more top rpm, with a much smoother mid range. This CY Gp290 is an all or nothing kind of motor (if that makes sense)

The exhaust note is a touch louder than stock, but a LOT more poppy and raspy.. It is too loud to play in the neighbors yard at 4:30 in the morning, but it's not as loud as the un-silenced version or the DDM Dom pipe.

I love this pipe! Yes I know some may say it is ugly and one member on here said it looked like someone was learning to weld when it was put together, (lol) but I love it!

There is no comparison between the stock can and this pipe... (this is the version 1, that wraps around the rear) Makes the truck a whole different animal, wheelies at 1/4 throttle..

Tomorrow, I am going to fix the front end and record some wheelie vids, because I haven't seen any in awhile and I feel like doing that :D

Hell ya... wheelies are always cool. I am going to buy a new back tire for my bike just so it can wheelie. It drives fine the way it is but I just spin when I mash it...

you're never really an rc camera person without getting dirt in the mouth from some wheelspin

Hi ya im trips finance :) i was the camera girl in the video. it was hard keeping the truck in the shot cause i had the reflection of my face in the screen as im trying to keep on eye on his truck. Plus i don't lik rocks being chucked at me from a 29lbs truck. but im trying my best. i did drive it last week it is pretty fast. i can see why he like it.
 
Great video Trip :) I hope that you have more to upload soon. I love these simple videos without any music when you just can hear the roar of the engine :clown:

You mentioned that the stock Zenoah 26 cc has more top rpm:s, but has the GP290 more power in the lower rev range you think?
 
Actually, the stock Zenoah 26 has more all around... With my experience, the GP290 falls a bit short..

The Zen 26, is by far a Superior motor...

The Cy motor just doesn't have the punch that the stock motor did. The mid range is not as well defined as the Zen, it seems kind of flat. The top rpm is nothing compared to it... Now don't get me wrong, this motor isn't a P.O.S. But it just isn't as strong or as well defined as the Zen.. (Think of a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 {cy} to a Lambo {Zen}, still in the same power range, but not as sophisticated)

But, the more I abuse this motor, the better it runs... (like a Chevrolet)

In this video, it was the first time I have EVER heard this motor start to pull some decent RPM's... I am on my 3rd gallon of fuel (sorry to you metric guys, but I don't have the conversion factors in front of me)

It is a possibility, that maybe this motor takes a long time to break in?!? I don't know for sure...

I will beat the living poop out of this motor tomorrow, we'll know for sure then...

I am going to flog this thing within an inch of it's life, we will see if the Chinese can build a motor like the Japanese... (as a side note, Have you ever looked at a word for 15 minutes and not known if it's spelled correctly? Even if "spell check" says it correct?? Damn I hate to second guess myself)

But like I said, the more I beat this motor, the better it runs!! War, ask me again when summer hits!! By then, WE will know if this motor is worth the money I paid.

I guess for now, I'm not out anything... But I promise to beat this female dog like a two dollar hooker!!!
