Hi!

Just a few weeks old video when I was tuning my new head kit. Until now I have had about 2 gallons through it and I`m very pleased with it so far. A bit more torque but still high reving. I ended up with the H 1,75 and L 1,5.

I went to the gravelpit yesterday with a friend were the extra torque really came in handy. Will upload a video of this later today.

But here is a video of one of my the first tanks with my new headkit:

very cool , im tempted to buy a head kit for my zen - but im still undecided on what to buy.

Well if you want a high reving but still torque engine you will not be dissapointed with the Oneill Brother`s 27,2 kit :) Or buy the reed kit and get even better throttle response.

What engine do you have today?

esp do the complete 4 bolt zen motors, but ive never seen a just a 4 bolt head by its self from esp on ddm not sure where else to look for esp ported heads.

ill have a look on Oneill Brothers web site i look a while ago and there was only stock 4 bolt heads

Stevo @ evo tuning do them, here's the link mate.

thanks but no thanks not including shipping that workes out at over $410 aud just for a ported head kit, im sure they are good, but out and way over my price range, i can buy a complete zen g270rc for that in australia.

ive been waiting for esp top do just the heads, but still nothing not sure where to look uther then ddm.com

to rebuild the top end only of a g207rc motor in australia your looking at $155 aud just for the top end to buy the same that come with the obn ported head kit.

to buy a portd g270rc head kit with shipping from obn workes out at $175 aud

i go thru motors pritty quickly dude to bashing and tune, there is no well in hell i will spend 400 bucks on a head kit, just incase i kill it.

the last g270rc motor after i rebuilt it i killed it after 17 tanks and that rebuild cost $200 aud and i did some mild work to the motor.

i have brought ported heads befor and i have found them to be a bit irractic and top end screams lacking in torque, i never tryed one with a + 2 mm crank and i think this would improve torque and bottom end liek in the 29 and 30.5cc motors

im willing to pay alittle extra and give obn ported head a go as its only 20 aud more, but im a tight arse and love the way the stock g270rc zens performs.

O'Neil has a great race ported 27.2 head kit for the money...
That's my next engine build.....As for esp Doug said he would have some by end of summer
topend kits..but who knows...Maybe timm man knows...I my self am not waiting all summer months and no top end from esp @DDM's site......Slawhammer

Just thought you should know about EVO TUNING mate, they have great reviews, sorry to hear it's out of your price range, it is for me too, i think i would like the full engine from EVO at some point, to me it look's good for the money.

yeah im glad you showed me the link.

looks like ans sounds like a top bit of gear, and it looks like they go a little bit further then other porters good to see.

i will add it to the wish list as ive spend alot of my fg mt 2wd coverting it to all alloy im not finshed yet but its draining funds quick and so on.

i posted the link on an australian forum and i was told psr an aussie supplier is bringing in some 2 bolt evo ported head/piston combos, and soon some 4 bolts versions

so im looking forward to seeing and hearing how they go on a local forum, and this might make them cheaper and easyer for me and others to get hold of the heads, so i take it a real good thing,

so thanks for letting us know of another good porting option
