vrc pipe can't fit my FG Baja

Hey fellas I pulled of my jetpro pipe and decided to see what the VICTORY RC PIPE would with my my OB 4 bolt . how ever I'm finding it impossible to mount this pipe. either I had too much to drink this week end or this header and or the angle of the pipe makes it im possible to mount. Please let me know what i'm doing wrong or if i simply the wromg part. Photos of the pipe mounted without the body or cage. thanks 4 the help.

I don't think you are drunk. That doesn't look right. Who did you order it from?

Somthing is screwed up on the alignment. Did you send them a e-mail? they might have a more accurate answer for you.

I got it from Pitstop shop. theyre the only ones that i could find with the unsilenced version. i will be calling them on monday. i might just give it a shot at bending it. thnx will let u all know.

try the header off your other pipe to see first

what happens if you turn your header 180deg

The header off your exhaust sits upside down on the cylinder.
Turn the header 180deg, and your exhaust wil fit the car!
When you look above the car, the exhaust must turn right from the cylinder.
On your pictures,,,,, the exhaust turn to the other direction.

I've already tried it 180degr. it won't even bolt on that way because it presses against the gas tank.

that is not the pipe for the FG Baja, I can tell you that right know. Since me being the Rep. for Pro5thscale the FG Baja Pipe looks completely different from that, if I was you I would call pitstop and tell them to send you the right damn pipe.

ya bro. thatsa completly diffrent pipe then the one for the fg baja. you might have the one for the hpi baja. by the looks of the mounting bracket, it would appear to be a side pipe for the 5b/5t..

I contacted harry at http://www.pitstop-shop.nl/. He said that infact that is the wrong header. and that he will have the screw up fixed asap. thnx will post update .
