wait for two speed, or buy new high rev motor?

So I'm looking for clutch springs and bearings , and I see the obr motors..so I'm thinking, will the speed motor give me the results I was wanting on my stock motor with a 2 speed? Anyone using the the zenoah speed motor? Is there a drastic increase over the stock motor in my mt.
 
I was waiting for the 2 speed also.so i git real tired of waiting and got the multi ratio belt drive.i gave demon enuff time to produce a 2 speed.i'll get it if it ever comes out....lol..
 
Got tired of waiting, spent the money on a good pipe for the OBR engine with the original belt drive on the Dunerunner. If Demon gets something out, I'll get it.
 
If he doesn't, one will eventually be made by someone. They are currently available by other manufactures for MCD, Carbon Fighter, FG, Nutech, Smartech, Baja, and now even another one for the Five.
 
A few mm between the shafts. They could be made to work with a bit of machining. You would need a custom gear plate that uses their clutch bell and then a custom lay shaft that accepts the new gears. Not to tough if you have access to a machine shop.
