I bought my XB last week on the 17th and the seller was awesome he had it at UPS in a few hours. Now according to the tracking updates, this box left Phoenix on the 17th on it's way to me in Michigan (about 30 minutes from Detroit) but hasn't checked in anywhere since. It's already been 5 days.


I'm wondering how they shipped it, was it strapped to the back of Pepe the burrow and it's slowly walking here, because that's what it feels like. Maybe they actually took the buggy out of the box and are driving it here? According to Google maps, you could walk here in a mere 46 days.


I just keep telling myself, at least it's still brand new, the're only new once and if I would have received it 3 days ago, I would've probably broken it by now. Patience is not one of my virtues.


Hey guys, can I bolt my FG wheels to the Xb? I think I may have to drill out the hubs, but are the wheel drives (squares/hex) the same?

They do both use 17mm drive squares. However the XBs axle bolt is not long enough to get through most FG wheels.
 
The only economical way to ship those huge packages is by ground freight. I'm sure you'll see it this week. 5-10 days to anywhere in the 48 states is typical.
 
Yeah, I don't fault anyone, I'm just growing anxious.

It says 1 day left, but I've seen the delivery day change many times so UPS can "Stay on time"
 
Well Trip your not alone. I am waiting for my grafil body. Mine was shipped on the `16th day befor yours.Like yourself I am also anixous.So we learn to be humble waiting for our packages and your right it sux!
 
Hmmmm, how long for my parts to get to New Zealand....summer is coming and I want my truck back on the road!!!! lol
 
Yeah, it sucks. Sometimes they'll actually hold the package if it gets to it's destination before it's delivery date. FedEx and USPS do that. Bastards.
 
Well I work for UPS and when i got my MT it did the same thing. Only thing I can think that may be happening is its going in to a rail box and sitting in a rail yard for a few days or running rails to this side of the states.... That may be why there is no tracking till it hits the tarmac again... Be patient it will be there. Now if only DDM would ship ups we would have it made....

That is something FLM is addressing too, I had them add 5mm to the threaded stub :D

Got my fingers crossed, right hand of course LOL, that they stay on board. Will be a great and much needed product.
 
I finally got an update, it made it to Toledo this afternoon at 1:00 of course it hasn't left yet. It's been sitting for 10 hours.

Ups said they are bringing it on horseback and I should be patient.
 
Horse back or Fedex LOL , you no this is amazing I live in Pa. if I order something from arizona or California and they ship UPS it takes 7 days 2 get here but if I order from DDM in utah using USPS I get it in 2 days this has happened alot
 
Ya usps seems a lot faster! Never have problems with getting packages but of its FedEx or ups sure takes time
 
I thought about that and I even have sick time... But that would be a poopy thing to do to the guys I work with.

I'm the Tool Tech back in the rental dept at the local Home Depot, I repair all the rental machines as well as customers junk. Lawnmowers, chainsaws, weed whips etc... So I'll still get to play with engines today, even if it won't be on the KittyCat. Meow.

I have to practice my shocked look, plus she'd suspect something if I stayed home to receive a body. I don't miss work unless I'm suffering from the beer flu or if I died. This day in age it isn't easy to walk in and get a full time position in retail making twice what everyone else makes!

The kitty will be in the garage (I'm sure she'll direct the UPS to put it in there) so I can play when I get home. I'll snap up some pics when I get it.

Anybody know which color I went with? I'll give you all a hint, it's either blue or green. :rolleyes:
