hey guys having problems with both of my new head kits


did everythyng the books says and than some


it just wont start and when it does it is like to lean or something like it


then it stall's so i got both of my cats sitting in the garage i ran out of patience


both of them new kit 30.5cc esp 813 carbs hpi airfilters and nothing


engine start then stall's please guys


please guys help!
 
If it revs hard then stalls it could be a leaking head gasket...hope not and not likely as you said you done all well, check the inlet manifold seals, these can be a pig to seal well. This is all it could be really, as you said they start, idle high then die.

On the choke less 813 carbs, I find they start well by priming until fuel is in the return line, then give a couple of primes with the throttle wide open......return throttle to closed position and give a few sharp pulls and starting should occur. If this fails, prime again with throttle wide open, adjust throttle trim to slightly open butterfly, should start then.
