I recently installed a Walbro 997 Carb (w/red choke).... I used the liquid gasket sealer on both sides of the new carb, primed the bulb and still cannot seem to get it running.... any suggestions from y'all out there? I smelled fuel so I stood my MT on its rear wheels and a little bit of fuel came out from the muffler. Could I have possibly misconneted the fuel lines at the carb? Feel free to chime in so I can get my baby running... she's a pretty one. lol

I just use the paper or Teflon gasket,, liquid gasket sealer, makes too much mess,,,,,and isn't there a small hole on base where the carb bolts to intake,??,, lliquid sealer would plug it

maybe you plugged off the pulse port on the engine side of the carb with the liquid gasket sealer. Its a small hole on the carb at the bottom of the side that faces the engine.

As xscrick just said.

Cool thanks for the info, now, do I need to take the carb completely off to unplug the hole? Or can I see the hole from the outside of the carb and poke a pin through it to unplug it ? awwww maaan... lol
