looks like it not cheap as well but i like it i don't think id use them k+n style filters i think foams much safer but the k+n's look much better plus you could fit a outerwares when using just to help
 
i bought it new from an auction in ebay.de and in a good price . As i wrote before in germany they have many dual type filters but i do not know German to find them in e-stores... I have seen many in pictures from forums and some in ebay.de but the price goes high...Surely i will use outwears and only in on road use......Renbar how much did you pay for the microphone type filter ? Looks massive and nice....
 
no mate i think troys got a few more toys than me mate and that evo looks great compaired to my sportsline/comp bitsa
 
this hobby mate its like a crack habit without the high,,,and what can i say i like nice toys lol if you don't got toys you age a lot quicker
 
mike have you heard any horror storys of these carbon filters after a crash and bits of carbon getting eaten by the engine and causing major damage im hoping the rollcage will help stop the filter getting damage in a big crash,,ive seen a few youtube vids of the on roads crashing and rolling onto the roof and you can see the bodyshell flex to the point it would destroy the filter,,other than fitting a plastic one is there anything i can do to avoid it other than not rolling it on its roof lol
 
You've answered your own question - don't roll it. I only ever used the FG F1 because it worked very well, there were lots using the carbon filter but I've heard nothing bad about them. I suppose that in a crash the first thing you do is let off the throttle so that will limit the amount of bits getting in.
 
yeah i guess not rolling it is the answer lol i just hope if i do the roll cage will stop the roof hitting the filter and killing the engine i cant see carbon shards doing much good to the insides of my oddie but hey at least it looks nice lol
