16 tooth plastic pinion. ive up graded to full steel drive train and then totaly mashed my diff...lol.. it went with a bang aswell.... ive tryed my LHS. and uk ebay nowt..

i don't only want 1.. i want a few so i ive got some spares. i have a weekend away later this month and im taking my m/t and vintage tamiyas..

if you don't have any please post any links for shops and other places.. thanks for your time. matt the plonker

I would recommend against using the plastic pinion. You should only use the plastic spur with a steel carrier. If you don't you will melt out the center of the plastic pinion every time the bell heats up. Trust me, its why FG switched to the alloy one stock.
If you took out the teeth in the diff, it would of happened if your gears were plastic. I took out two diffs on two different models with plastic gears.
If one gear in the FG type diff goes it usually will take out all of them unless you notice it. The outdrives will be your weakest link in your drive train with plastic or alloy gears.

im in the uk.. i have a steel pinion and steel spur. i was using plastic spurs on a lloy carrier. but i was stipping spurs every meet and cleaned out me lhs..i have bought 2 2nd hand diffs for £60... thanks for the help..
