So while i was stripping my MT down for a clean up, my standard elec box had quite a bit of water sitting in the bottom :eek:mg:
I genrally put everything in a plastic bags for this reason. I decided to change the box and fit a new on/off switch as its getting worn and hard to use.

I have a voltage regulator, Kill switch pcb and the reciever so space was tight in the standard box. Figured i would take pictures as i went.

The power switch is much easier to use and waterproof and sits on a gasket. The LED is super glued in and has silicone on the underside. The top also has a gasket.

That should keep em safe :D

Looks like an inevitable disaster was looming with the water, good job you had the bags

Seems a nice replacement with enough room for everything, can i ask where you got it from please?

I've been after something similar for a project as the FG ones can be a bit small!

Got the switch from Maplin Electronics, they have a large range of switches and electronics etc. I've had the box laying around for a while, im pretty sure that came from Maplin also.

nice one, I'm in the process of doing my reciever box (Well I stripped the car over christmas and still haven't reassembled it all), and was thinking of moving it over the front chassis brace (infront of the steering servo) so that I can get in the second brake servo.
