Weak link?

In the RC rock crawling world the weak link is the drive shafts. They would break or twist out before something major like the transmission was torn up and then the slipper clutch came about and helped a lot. They were relatively easy to get to and fairly inexpensive to fix compared to the other disasters that could happen.


What is going to be the weak link in the Rampage and will it be expensive to fix and hard to get to?

The weak link is the gears for right now. $13 to fix for whoever doesn't have them.

That is cheap!! If you use aluminium or steel gears what becomes the weak link? I think the gears need to be the failsafe in the system....cheap and easy to replace.
