battery died on my drill so guna wait till tomora now to cut the rest out so hopefully it should be ready for it's high build primer by tuesday or wednesday :cool2::cool2:

hey matt it looks good mate, mines just havin the door numbers and flag on the roof and maybe the numbers on the sides of the spoiler.

Yeah I put the bare basic numbers on at first, but it looked a bit plain and I didn't want to chuck the other stickers away. If the stickers are the ones off ebay I sprayed lacquer over the top to protect in rollovers:no:

yeah they are the ones of ebay and i was thinkin of doin that with the lacquuer mate :cool2: i want to try and keep it as close to the origanal car as poss, even though its a buggy

Wow Charl,why take so much out of the windows? It will compromise structural integrity. You could have just used a hole cutter! But it does look good.

guna put mesh back in mate, as for the weak parts i have a small piece of round bar that i'm guna fiber glass in so it will be stronger than it was with the windows in :cool2::cool2:

the only thing i had to remove where the plastic chassis extensions as the shell wont flex enough to go over them :2guns::2guns:

that means major grass clean outs after every run :nono::nono:

slightly heavier but not much in it mate, i only bash it around on fields and bmx tracks so not that important

Im gonna start masking up on Sunday & hopefully start painting early next week. Cant wait
Might do a Rothmans Beetle if this comes out ok!!
