Just bought my new toy! Should see it Thursday next week.

King motors 002 nylon, 30.5cc baja. Can't wait. Also bought front and rear aluminum shock braces.

I really hope I won't be disappointed. $700 bones is a chunk of change. Next up....killer bee kill switch and hd dog bones.

It has begun :lol:
 
That's the way I was with helicopters. I had 4 of them. I was up to 700 size Helis last year when I hung up my flight jacket. Flights started getting very expensive and crashes even worse lol. I haven't had a truck/buggy since I was 15. I absolutely can't wait. This will be my first petrol vehicle.
 
i got my first one a little over a year ago and now have 4. Gets to be alot to keep up with and very pricey. Good luck
 
I just recieved my Ver 2 30.5cc 2 speed. last month and it is a blast. Lots of Aluminum. I got the DDM clone rear wrap around pipe with full Alm rear bumper which was not identified on Ebay for a little less than $700 from Dan. I have had planes, Heli's and nitro Trucks in the past. I want to sell my 6 Nitro Trucks. Gas and big is the way to go.
 
go over the bolts, if needbe, remove ones that should have loctite, red or blue and reloctite eveything, that way YOU know its done right, also some folks, like myself, found that the diff had hardly any fluid in it, thats one spot i would definately take down and check, make sure its full. if your goin to do that take the time and money to purchase you a alloy split diff case, and install it as youreassemble that area, its a investment worth the while if you ever need to service diff again, as it illiminates having to tear the rear completely down to get diff out again, it only requires the removal of a few parts instead of almost the whole rear end to service that diff.
 
Thanks everyone for the advice! I will def. check all mounting and dif for fluid. What kind of dif. fluid should I get? Also, has anyone used spray on bed liner (lineX) for the underside of the body to make it stronger? I know I would have to paint it first, then use the undercoat. I just thought that might add some strength to it? Few more questions:

NGK spark plug (what plug)?
Motorcycle 2 stroke oil (Klotz or maxxum)? Is this ok to run in it?
Break in instructions?
Bigger Battery pack? Which brand and where to buy from? Will the stock charger work for different batteries? Are these Lipo's, life, nimh?
WHat is the connector type on the battery?

i have a jug of klotz but haven't used it yet, been using good 2 cycle oil i got from wally world, but will soon delve into the klotz as im almost out of the other. some say klotz makes too much smoke and goms stuff up, i dunno, will see i guess when i start using it. for break in i did what manual said, something bout various times at certain throttles, etc.. my batt pack i swapped for a higher mah one from DDM , stock was like 3000 mah i think, i got the 4600 mah at the time it was biggest now he has a 5000 mah

i never used the stock charger i have a good one that handles nimh etc.. i got from hobby store. its called a prophet plus charger. i use it to charge several different batteries on my rock crawlers, lightsaber batt packs(i make lightsabers, with luxeon leds) etc...

i bought a 4pks and upgraded the stock battery in it to a LiFe battery, 1900 mah. it requires a special charging setup for those batteries, which i purchased a LiFe batt charger/balancer.
 
Best 2-stroke oil in the MX world IMO is blendzall. Never used Klotz but I know the smell is awful, but if I still rode a 2-stroke running blendzall I'd start my bike up every morning and use the exhaust fumes as cologne.
 
I used Klotz in mine since I went to Gas (about year ago) never had any problem. That is all I ran in my bikes. I ran out and picked up Lucas performance and it seems pretty good. Not much smoke, different smell but not bad.
 
glad to hear good reports on the Klotz, soon as the last gallon gas worth of oils gone ill be using the Klotz, got a gallon jug of that stuff, so im good for quite a while it seems
 
I am going to run amsoil dominator or saber mixed 32:1 with 93 octane. I know it's a lot of personal preference but I have read a lot of people find that klotz causes a lot of build up. Some say it's great. But I haven't heard a bad report with amsoil.
