steel rose joints

igot the alloy arms installed and attached them to the alloy hubs. but it just don't seem right . the rosejoints seem really tight to the arm and i put 2 washers between the bolt and the swivel on the rose joint. the plastic one i took off had a raised head on the swivel ball and the alloy ones i just installed do not. am i missing a spacer??? or is that how they fit. i added some photoes to my marder photobuckett album have a look:D

Can the arms be reversed?
Back-to-front?

Can top be put on bottom, bottom on top?

Just a thought?

Al.

dono why i would ? they mount nicely, but wear the arms bolt to the hubs is wear my concern is . on the stock plastic the swivel ball is raised , so when you bolt the arm to the hub there is a gap of about 1/2 cm between the plastic arm and the hub. but with the alloy rose joints they almost touch the hub, again i installed 2 washers to make a gap , and it works but is it right???? see picture #4 on my Photobucket album.

Just located another post with arms /hub issues and followed a link and these are what i need i believe;

are they required?
