Just wondering what you guys are ending up with needle settings on the KM's. I have the 28.5cc head kit, but I doubt needle settings will be affected much between 23 and 30.5cc's. Just to get a nice idle and transition, I'm at 3/4 to 1 turn on the low, and 2 turns on the high. I put the low back to 1 1/4 to 1.5 turns to be safe until it is fully broke in and I can really load up the engine, as it is -20C here and snow and ice everywhere! I can't wait!

Colder temps will effect your setting. There is no setting that will be the same. It will depend on the exhaust and motor. Even the same set up can be slightly different. Check with your plug color, that will tell you how tuned in you have it. I like mine coco brown to a bit darker so I know I'm safe...

what exactly is stock needle settings, owners manual doesn't say anything on tune

1-1/4 on the low
1-1/8 to 1-3/8 on the high

mine are at 1-1/8 high and 1-1/8 low and it's still to rich. my plug is still turning black. my mix is at 25:1
