Also, this comes with an option to delete your slipper clutch. My question is: why would you want to do that? Isn't that slipper clutch there to protect your clutch bell and motor? If you delete it, and then your wheels get bound up, wouldn't all that stress and friction go straight to your gears, clutch bell, and motor? Asking out of pure ignorance!

Your correct but it is for the entire drivetrain. This would be like a locked center diff. Lot's of variables but for me It would all depend on what terrain you run in. If it is loose 85% of the time and grippy the remaining 15% then a locked diff/eliminated slipper is fine. You start breaking stuff the more grip there is.
I have the Vertigo as well but i am such a noob i can't say what the difference is to be honest so i will sit back and learn from the more experienced. It reads like this is a Kraken RC attempt to meet or exceed what Vertigo has to offer.
