what do these switches do or mean

guys on my new 2.4 TX it has "exponential " and "dual rate" switches for each channel can some explained what they do ?


i had quick play around on the throttle servo and think it makes the servo go to full rotation without having to pull fully on the trigger ..

Expo makes your throttle more or less sensitive during the middle part of the triggers travel. Usually the radios owners manual has a good graph that kinda helps show what it does. Expo is part of the menu setup. It can't be quickly changed by just pressing a button.

Dual Rate can be quickly changed by the press of a button. It lets you quickly change the maximum amount of steering travel. Like if you are driving fast around a track you will want dual rate turned off, so that the steering has less travel and will be less sensitive, so you don't spin-out so easy. But if you get stuck in a tight corner you can quickly turn Dual Rate on and then you will have more steering travel, so that you can turn tighter and get yourself out of a corner.
