What do we this - Trading the FG MT

I've been wanting to remove the anti-roll bar - reckoned that's one thing to give it more flexibility.
Viscous diff is an option diff, but not the ultimate super expensive one you mention.

Hobbythek have the Viscous at ~GBP175, and the PowerLock at ~GBP315.

what purpose does the viscous diff serve over the regular diff??

Every time it spins out I ask myself the same question.
I suppose if I wasn't so heavy handed, it should 'grip' the wheel with grip and limit the unloaded wheel. Doesn't seem to happen in practice, and I've built it as best I could - no missing bits as we say!!
Instead of 10000 wt diff oil that comes as standard, I spent 3 days emptying (1 hour!!) and then loading with 100000 wt (2-3 days) oil - like treacle.
Perhaps it needed to work itself in more before I jump to conclusions, but the truck has had ~2 hours since the oil change in the diff - and much 'dancing in the snow'!!
